The Town of Atlantic Beach is currently accepting employment applications for the following position:
Utility Billing/Customer Service Rep: Town of Atlantic Beach. Serves as the main utility account contact for the town via phone, email, and face time at Town Hall front office with customers utility accounts. Work requires extreme tact, customer service and public relations skills, neatness, accuracy and reliability with little supervision, and proficiency with computers a must. Responsible for maintaining the database of all utility accounts and reviewing and processing utility bills and payments; assisting customers with problems with utility service and bills; establishing new customer accounts and closing out accounts; performs related tasks as assigned. Desire AA degree in accounting or related field with work experience in billing operations or customer service. Must be able to be bonded, requires pre-employment drug screening, and background and credit check and computer proficiency testing. Hiring rate: $33 – 41k, based upon experience.
