In addition to the press venues, there are many options available to the public to stay informed regarding natural disasters. We have tried to list some of them below, including the Code Red emergency notification system, a link to the Town’s Facebook page which will be updated throughout the storm, and a link to the County’s Web-based Emergency Operations Console.
Carteret County Web-Based Emergency Operations Console (WebEOC) WebEOC is a tool that gives the public access to information about emergency situations within the county. The public can access WebEOC by double clicking on the WebEOC link. To log in, the “user” is public, and the “password” is public. The user and password information should be entered in lower case letters. |
